In Cardiff, the discount superstore designed a ‘bespoke’ store to meet residents’ concerns and the demands of the site. A specially-designed frontage, consisting of a mix of cedar cladding, rubble stone and aluminium, stands apart from ‘traditional’ Lidl designs and complement the area.

The new store includes an under-croft car park, bakery, freezer department and travellators. In addition, a large sales area of 1,345 sq metres will mean a more spacious, organised shopping experience and greater product range.
